The 2022 Premier League season concluded with a thrilling finale, as Manchester City narrowly edged out Liverpool to secure their fourth league title in five years. Who Got Promoted?

Nottingham Forest, who had been absent from the Premier League for 23 years, earned their place back among the elite thanks to a dramatic playoff victory over Huddersfield Town. Having finished fourth in the Championship, Forest defeated the Terriers 4-1 at Wembley Stadium to secure their return to the top flight.
Who Was Relegated?
Unfortunately, three teams were relegated from the Premier League to the Championship, with Burnley, Watford, and Norwich City failing to maintain their top-flight status. Burnley, who had spent six seasons in the Premier League, struggled to adjust to the loss of key players and finished in 18th place with just 35 points.
Watford, who had been promoted to the Premier League in 2021, endured a disappointing season plagued by managerial changes and a lack of consistency. The Hornets ended the campaign in 19th place with 23 points.
Norwich City, who had only recently earned promotion to the Premier League in 2019, suffered a swift relegation back to the Championship. The Canaries finished bottom of the table with just 21 points, having struggled to compete with the quality of the top flight.
Who Finished in Between?
The remaining 14 teams in the Premier League settled into various positions in the final standings. Liverpool finished second with 92 points, just one point behind Manchester City. Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, and Arsenal rounded out the top six, with each team qualifying for European competitions.
Manchester United endured a turbulent season under new manager Erik ten Hag, finishing sixth with 58 points. Newcastle United enjoyed a remarkable resurgence under Eddie Howe, finishing 11th with 49 points after a lengthy spell battling against relegation.
